Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees in the areas of policies and practices. Serve as first point of contact in the handling of employee and labor relations issues.
Maintain compliant application of compensation policies and practices including pay adjustments and salary/wage analysis, assist in administering annual review/merit process, and provide back-up support for the payroll process at the plant.
Manage the recruitment and selection process for the site by attending job fairs, writing advertisements, screening applicants and participating in employment interviews as needed. Coordinate New Employee Orientation and on-boarding on new hires.
Provide proactive employee data and information to supervisors to assist in the management of their workforce.
Conduct compliance and HR related investigations as needed and ensure a fair and thorough investigation process and timely issue resolution.
Provide payroll, recruiting, and employee relations support for the Longview, TX location

$0* Promoting positive employee relations at a multi-site non union complex ensuring consistent communication, leadership and direction of employees while supporting Complex in meeting goals and objectives. $0
$0* Developing plans, programs and procedures to ensure the facilities union-free status is maintained $0
$0* Directing the recruitment, interview and selection processes for qualified candidates for all vacant positions and to ensure a skilled employee workforce is available at all times $0
$0* Assisting in development and administration of corporate wide compensation and benefit plans to ensure industry competitiveness and promote high morale and productivity as well as attract and retain qualified individuals. $0
$0* Ensure facility compliance with all statutory/legislative human resource requirements and provide advice to site management regarding employee counseling, discipline, motivation, staffing, productivity, etc. $0
